We are dedicated to making bikes better with mountain bike suspension service and tuning options to suit all bikers. Our objective is to improve the performance of a mountain bike beyond it’s factory capabilities.

We are trained and certified to service Fox, Rockshox, EXT, Cane Creek, Marzocchi, MRP and DVO. We are also the exclusive New Zealand Dealer and Service Centre for the premiere boutique shock manufacturer PUSH Industries. This means we have access to all of the correct tooling and genuine parts for these brands.

About our Suspension Services

Basic services are charged a standard rate across all brands as they require little or no parts, but full rebuilds change much more between brands as the complexity and parts cost vary significantly. We record your current settings, strip the parts down then clean in our parts washer and/or ultrasonic cleaner. Inspect and test all parts, then change seals and reassemble with new fluids.

Dampers are vacuum bled whenever possible for the most consistent damping performance.

Any further parts or tuning will be an extra cost but we will advise before proceeding or at the time of booking.

We use factory seal kits where available in 99% of cases, but will use alternate seals if we feel it gives a distinct increase in performance or reliability

Mountain Bike Suspension Service Pricing:

Basic Fork Service (all forks)
Complete clean and degrease of lower legs, check air assembly for excess factory grease (where applicable), test damper and inspect sliding surfaces. Test bushings for optimum clearance, burnish and resize as needed. Relube seals & bushes

Fork Full Service
Full strip down and clean of lowers, damper and air assembly. Burnish or resize bushings. Replace dust wipers, change damper oil and vacuum bleed where possible, relube and reassemble. Return adjusters to original settings.

Shock Air Can Service (brand dependent)
Clean outer air can only and replace seals, relube and reassemble

Shock Full Service
Full strip down, replace o-rings and wiper seals, vacuum bleed damper, recharge IFP (Nitrogen or air depending on model)

Miscellaneous costs

Remove and reinstall fork, inspect headset bearings, brake pads and adjust brake - $20

Remove and reinstall shock, inspect pivot bearings- $15

Remove and reinstall hydraulic seatpost, includes hose bleed - $20
